SMS Communications & Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, Lovejoy Innovative Planning LLC may send you SMS or MMS messages related to our services. These messages may include, but are not limited to:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Service updates or administrative notifications
• Requests for information related to your account or engagement
• Other messages directly related to your relationship with Lovejoy Innovative Planning LLC

We do not use SMS text messaging for marketing purposes unless you have provided explicit, separate consent.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses Google Fonts, which may cause your browser to connect to Google's servers to load typefaces. We also use basic page-view analytics through our website platform to understand which pages are visited. Neither is used for advertising or to build a marketing profile of you. A cookie banner is shown on your first visit; declining it does not prevent essential parts of the site from loading, only optional font and analytics connections.

How We Collect Information

We may gather information through:

• Direct communication with you via email, phone, or virtual meetings
• Documents or data uploaded to our secure platforms
• Intake forms, questionnaires, or digital tools used during onboarding
• Information you voluntarily provide throughout the consulting process

Information We Collect (Upon becoming client)

We do not ask for, or collect any personal or sensitive information on our web page, via email, text, or phone call. We may collect nonpublic personal information ("NPI") from you in order to provide consulting and financial-education services. This information may include:

• Full name, address, email address, and phone number
• Date of birth and tax identification number (if provided)
• Employment status and demographic information
• Financial information such as income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and planning objectives
• Documents, forms, or data you provide directly during your engagement

We collect only the information reasonably necessary for service delivery.

Technology Systems and Vendor Oversight

To support our services, we use the following professional platforms, each of which maintains strong encryption, access controls, and industry-standard cybersecurity programs:

• RightCapital – Financial planning tools
• Holistiplan – Tax-analysis engine
• PreciseFP – Secure digital data-gathering
• FP Pathfinder – Checklists and planning workflows
• Google Workspace – Communication, administration, and document storage

Access to these systems is limited to authorized personnel within the Firm. We require all service providers to maintain appropriate confidentiality and data-security measures and enter into agreements consistent with our privacy and security expectations. We also monitor vendor compliance as part of our internal safeguards program.

AI-Assisted Communications (Jarvis & Sona)

Jarvis and Sona are firm-built AI LLM models developed by Lovejoy Innovative Planning LLC to help with communications, scheduling, and task management. AI makes mistakes, and neither Jarvis OS nor Sona will ever ask for personal or sensitive information.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with nonaffiliated third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose your information only under the following circumstances:

• To nonaffiliated service providers who support our operations (e.g., technology vendors listed above), subject to strict confidentiality obligations
• To comply with applicable laws, court orders, subpoenas, or valid regulatory or law-enforcement requests
• At your explicit direction or with your written authorization

Your Right to Opt Out

If at any time we consider offering optional, nonessential third-party services that may benefit you, we will contact you first. You have the right to opt out of any nonrequired sharing of information for marketing or referral purposes. To opt out, you may contact us using the details below.

We maintain your opt-out preferences in our records for a minimum of five (5) years unless you change them.

Security, Safeguards, and Breach Notification

We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect your information, consistent with:

• The FTC Safeguards Rule
• Best practices under the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA)
• Relevant expectations in SEC Regulation S-P
• The North Carolina Identity Theft Protection Act and related state privacy laws

Safeguards include encryption, secure access controls, vendor oversight, confidentiality requirements, and secure data-handling procedures. In the event we determine that your sensitive personal information (such as Social Security number, driver's license number, or financial-account data) was accessed or used without authorization, we will notify you as soon as practicable and no later than 30 days from confirming the incident, consistent with leading regulatory standards and North Carolina breach-notification laws.

Data Retention and Secure Disposal

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with legal, operational, or professional obligations. When information is no longer required, we dispose of it securely in accordance with federal and North Carolina requirements for the destruction of personal and financial records.

Data Deletion Requests

You may request that we delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. To do so, email info@lovejoyplanning.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will confirm receipt within five (5) business days and complete the deletion within thirty (30) days, except where we are required to retain certain records by law, regulation, or an active client engagement.

Former Clients

If your engagement with us ends, we will continue to protect your information according to the standards described in this Privacy Notice. Your information will not be used or disclosed except as permitted under this policy or required by law.

Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Notice periodically. Material changes will be communicated to you in writing or via email. The most current version is always available upon request and supersedes all prior versions.
